A bit of a sad day for the HQ Monaro project we’ve been on and off and on again for 8 years. The customer had to sell and the car is going to Vic. I probably won’t ever see it again or even finish it.

The Pontiac came in for a roof replacement, it was rusted out being a t-top and made floor pans rust too. So were the hinges and A pillar. New hinges, all rubbers. Windscreens out without breaking them and panel alignment and a paint job later down the track for him. Hopefully he can now move forward with saving not restoring this iconic car.

It’s been a while since we worked on the HQ Monaro. Customer said go ahead and put it on the rotisserie finally and proceed with the underbody treatment. Seam seal, rust preventative, epoxy thane and then 2 coats of tough KBS coating. This stuff is awesome applied correctly. Moving forward 💪👍
