We’ve been hard at work turning our Patrol into the ultimate go-anywhere, do anything rig and it’s coming together beautifully. Here’s what we’ve done so far:

🔊🔥 from about 10 years ago! An old-school install that still hits us right in the bass feels!

This SV6 rolled in and got the full JSBCustoms treatment:
- Pioneer double DIN headunit
- 4x 6.5” Alpine Type R splits
- 2x 6.5” Alpine Type R coaxials
- Option Audio monoblock
- Option Audio 4-channel
- Pioneer monoblock
- 2x Kicker subs in a ported boxes
- 2x 3000w poineer subs in a ported box

💥 This thing was insanely loud—and in the video, it’s only running on a basic tune at just a quarter volume! Between the 4 subs we had all the frequencies covered! Yes we used different subs as thats what the customer had at the time

And yep, we’re totally aware of the boot rattle 😅 this was a first stage test run, not the final setup. Still, it was already shaking the scene and showing serious potential!

In this video, we dive deep under the hood and behind the dash of Tim’s stunning WL Caprice as we completely gut and rebuild its custom sound system from the ground up.

What started as a tangle of over 20 years’ worth of spliced factory wiring, outdated components, and unnecessary modules quickly turned into one of our most satisfying transformations yet.

We stripped out more than 100 meters of excess cabling. Yes 100 meters! Eliminating decades of makeshift fixes and legacy hardware that were holding the system back.

- Installed a fresh head unit with Apple CarPlay for seamless modern connectivity

Full restoration on this stunning set of 3-piece Work meister wheels and what a transformation it’s been. These aren’t just wheels, they’re a statement of engineering and style, and rebuilding them is no small feat.

Each piece was carefully broken down:
- Polished lips stripped, buffed, and brought back to mirror shine
- Inner barrels deep-cleaned and resprayed for longevity and uniformity
- Carbon-fiber center faces meticulously restored, highlighting the sleek 5-spoke design

Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. This old Corolla rolled in with a busted stock radio and blown factory speakers, basically zero tunes, zero vibes.

So we gave it a fresh breath of life:
- ✅ Installed a new Kenwood head unit for modern functionality and clean sound
- ✅ Swapped in Alpine Type J speakers, perfect fit and a major sound upgrade
Now it’s crisp, clear, and ready to cruise with some proper audio. Not every job has to be wild, sometimes all it takes is the right gear and a clean install.

Check out this transformation of some beautiful old Jarrah wood that had seen better days. It came in tired, scratched, and in serious need of some love. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work:

- ✅ Deep sanded to remove every imperfection
- ✅ Treated with multiple coats of premium wood sealer
- ✅ Finished off with 3 coats of high-grade satin clear for that smooth, like-new feel

The result? Absolutely stunning timber that looks better than the day it was cut. Clean, crisp, and ready to shine in any space.

This Forester came to us battle-scarred by hail, but we don’t let a few dents hold back greatness. At JSB Customs, we turned this damage into a canvas for creativity.

Here’s how we brought it back to life:
- 💥 PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) took care of the bulk of the hail hits
- 🛠️ Remaining dents? Pulled, then layered with high-build primer
- 📏 Blocked down until straight as an arrow, no shortcuts here
- 🎨 We didn’t stop at repair, we took it next level with a custom-tweaked colour, enhanced with extra pearls and metallic flakes for insane depth and eye-catching sparkle

This isn’t just a fix, it’s a full-blown glow-up. From storm damage to show car status, this Forester now turns heads for all the right reasons.

🛠️ Oldie but a Goodie: Engine Bay Perfection 🚗💨

Nothing like helping a mate finish off his dream build! This one came to us just in time for the final fit-up, and we were stoked to be a part of it.

We took the time to go over all his prep, double-checking every corner, every line, every bit of masking, to make sure it was on point.
Once everything was dialed in, we laid down a smooth coat of Toyota 1G3 grey metallic, and wow... it absolutely set off the engine bay. Clean, crisp, and a perfect complement to the hard work he’d already poured into the project.
