Rocker stud now pinned and secured , clean up end and peen roll pin end over when loctite cured
Saved customer a huge amount, as their looking at replacing this engine with a 700 hp clevo very soon

Ford v8 302 windsor in for a ticking noise

Well found this , rocker loose , adjuster and lock nut tight as
Mmm cam lobe wiped, yeh no lifter is gd , cam lobe nice and smooth
Checked valve movement and heights
Found the rocker arm stud has pulled slightly out of head wow
Knock it back in and retain the stud, temp fix
Quick remedy to get it running and safe again and so customer can drive it home

Waiting now for the new 351 4v clevo motor to arrive and then engine swap.

HOLLEY 600
In for carby o/haul
This annoys me when you obviously have no idea why its running rich
So you stupidly put wire in power circuit , idle circuit to restrict fuel flow
Now this metering block is stuffed , throw away
It had a factory set up that just needed attention , a 5min fix and would of been sorted
When you dont know , leave it to the experts who do

getting the old teclamit hoist back up and running again
New lift nut, and new chain , should last another 10 yrs hopefully
Just needs a gd clean on the outside
But now ready for customers vehicle on Monday

FYI
Had a customer bring back a vehicle with a carby we did
Problem flat spots running lean
We did a fuel sample , the one on the right hand picture is what was in his tank supposedly 98
Look like water
The sample on the rleft came from an Xconveinance yesterday
Yep were getting absolute rubbish fuel wise
Drain tank and replace fuel from a different servo

VU MALOO
Vehicle we dont no normally work on
Steering rack replacement, service
DPE ,extractors not the nicest to deal with
Not enough clearance to get a spanner in to undo pipes
So cut shut weld up bend up a pipe spanner to make it fit.
All done and dhsted
Handed back to customer
