Mount Gambier Weekend Away 24 April - 27 April

Pack the Morris, grab your mates and escape for a weekend of cars, camaraderie and few good laughs!

Where: Mount Gambier.

Accommodation: Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park, 6 Krummel St, Mount Gambier SA 5290. (Book early to avoid disappointment).

When: Friday 24 April - Monday 27 April

What’s planned (ideas in the making)

Saturday April 25th: Anzac Day dawn service and Breakfast at the RSL

Caves & lake exploring - nature at its finest

Possum spotting (evening sightings highly likely)

Local heritage highlights & historic wanderings

Coffee & cake stop - very important business

Group dinners - think pub meals or similar. BBQ maybe?

Plenty of Morris talk, tall tales and good company.

The Historic Motor Vehicle Gathering

This is not an official Morris Car Club event, but would be of interest to members.

Organised by The Vintage Sports Car Club of South Australia, the annual Historic Motor Vehicle Gathering is held on the 3rd Sunday in March every year. The 2026 event will be held on Sunday 15th March at the West Parklands, Adelaide from 10am to 2.00pm.

Car park adjacent to the netball courts bounded by Anzac Highway, Goodwood Road and South terrace. Access from Goodwood Road or Anzac Highway.

Barbecue on site, or bring your own cool drinks, coffee, beautiful vehicles or stationary engines.

Just a friendly reminder about our Aussie Family Fun Day happening this today 18 January, with a perfect weather ☀️
📍 Waterworld Aquatic Centre
Golden Grove Road, Ridgehaven
It’s a great chance to enjoy a paddle, swim, slide or just relax in the heated pools. There’s plenty of shade, lots of green grass, free BBQs, a kiosk, and heaps of parking — feel free to bring friends and family along.
