Suspension matters!

At Autocheckers we check your suspension for degredation and wear during your regular service.

You can see here a completely failed control arm bush that is allowing the control arm to sit in the wrong location.
This causes wayward handling, poor vehicle control, rapid tyre wear and poor braking.

At Autocheckers we check your tyres for wear and condition during your regular service.

The cracking tyre is a tyre that is ready to fall apart without warning and could cause an accident let alone leaving you stranded. The cracking is a clear indication of a old age tyre that is breaking down!

The worn tyre here has been driven beyond its minimum wear limits and is now highly defectable and dangerous!

At Autocheckers during all our routine services we perform a thorough inspection of your vehicle to ensure reliability for your daily usage.

During a service on an exceptionally low milage vehicle we found signs of the radiator leaking.

Further inspection showed that the radiator core had sustained some corrosion and developed a leaking core which can lead to overheating and worst case an engine failure!

Once repaired this car was back to being nice and reliable for its owner!

Turns out we work on everything!
We had this GTR come in for a clutch issue.
This one was interesting as there isn't much GTR left in it.
We found a few surprises along the way but made it all work and its on its way back interstate to compete in other drift events.

Brakes matter!

These are completely done and should have been replaced some time ago.
The brake wear indicator still has not illuminated on the dash.
The only warning to the driver was the occasional squeak.
Are your brakes feeling different? Are they making a new noise? Get it checked.

A friendly reminder to put your lights on today where ever you may be travelling.

We have are expecting a serious amount of rain today and over the weekend and this will reduce visibility.

Some tips to stay safe out there.
- Keep your distance and allow for the unexpected
- Lights on! Check they are all working
- Make sure your wipers are in good condition and working, if not pop past and we will help
- Stay away from flooded roads, you don't know what's under that water.
