Nothing beats real back to back comparisons and data

This S13 we have built and been involved with for quite a few years now has had a few little issues along the way that we have discovered with this spec engine...

Now in saying that we still believe to this day it's the most powerful NA S13 SR20 in Aus and I've put countless hours into development and testing with it and now yet again we are trying something new...

Ditching the ITB set up in favour for a factory S13 intake manifold with a Bosch 60mm DBW throttle body...

Why... I will let you know soon! But would to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on the change!

And go....

Next motor under way...

RB25 build for a good friend of mine!

Forged motor with all the usual goodies and upgrades, rods, pistons, pump gears, arp studs, nitto head gasket, cams, to make this R33 nice and reliable so he can get back out there and spin some tyres!

Real tuning...

Brabham BT18 1960s F2 car with history

Was a good little job checking over this after a fresh engine was installed, after our checks we ran in the new motor and away we go..

Quite a bit of tuning involved to get this right but the before and after gains show the results

These Lotus twin cams love to scream it's amazing in the 60s they made a 4cyl that could spin to 10,000rpm in a race car

And as always thanks Simon and the team at morpowa for the dyno use

There was a lot of issue's to sort out on this LJ Torrana with a fresh single cam RB30 combo ready to go!

Someone else made a new engine harness but it was full of faults which made it a bit harder of a task for me when I was setting up the new crank and cam trigger kit

Running one of my favourite Autronic SM4 ecus, it l had a incorrect firing order wired, TPS not working, 0v signal ground errors or missing, Air temp sensor not working and incorrect wiring to it..

I had a joke and said to the boys the only way the air temp sensor is not working is if someone wired 5v too it instead of 0v laughing is said but no way anyone would have done that.. well surprise surprise 5v

Along with 2 dead injectors and a blocked fuel filter we finally got there running on all 6 with no more errors and ready to put some KM's on it before I wind it up! Im looking forward to seeing this one go fast down the strip!

So once again its pays either to wait and have it done with someone that has experience in Motorsport wiring or auto electrical work in general understanding how ecus and sensors work...

Some of you may remember this masterpiece I have been building for quite some time..

I won't get into the long story yet but a lot of you that have been following this close know the story and drama we have gone through with a certain engine company and originally builder of the billet 20b before I was involved

Let's just say "CNC's give people the ability to turn out s**t products quickly" I have come to learn

Lucky for me I've been friends with for many years now and he was able to sort one bad ass 20b engine for us so we can finally get this weapon on the road!

I also need to thank my friend for all his help and advice along the way and for us working together going through the old pile of billet rubbish finding more faults after faults on design and machining

Even though we aren't at the end goal just yet and as much drama this build has been engine wise it's been a great learning curve and I can defiantly give some solid advice on built rotary engines about the do's and donts's and what products to steer clear of...

But anyways some solid progress this week on it and hopefully completed very soon!

Lucky I have an amazing grateful supporting customer and now a close friend out of all this

Testing out a little budget keypad/control system setup on a drift car that's quite tastefully done as a practice car compared to his pro car..

Yet this practice car is put together and neater then 90% of the field out there in SA... but no pics yet

Engine bay completed

Just finishing of the fuel pump upgrade and it's ready to fire up! Big few days finishing off last touches in the engine bay, running all the expansion harness we made and the individual EGT sensors into the car and terminating everything!

No boxes left unticked on this build which is the way we like it when customers want results we do it our way and deliver
