A huge congratulations to Jodi, who yesterday drove away in her brand‑new Chery Tiggo 7 Ultimate.
When Jodi first reached out, she was well and truly over her old car and ready to treat herself to something new, something that actually felt good to get into every day.
We talked through different models, worked through her priorities, and made sure her trade‑in was valued properly so she got the best return. And now… she’s enjoying all the good stuff: leather interior, heated seats, and a sunroof. A proper upgrade.
A massive thank you to the team at Chery Main North for helping bring this one together.
Congrats Jodi — and THANK YOU for trusting me to help you step into something you genuinely love.

Buying a car gets a whole lot easier when you follow what I call the 3‑Car Rule.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to compare everything.

Four cars… six… sometimes eight.

By that point, it all turns into a blur.

Prices
Features
Fuel economy
Boot space
Safety tech
No wonder people end up overwhelmed.

So here’s the simple framework I walk clients through all the time:

Step 1 — Pick three cars in the same category
Keep it tight and relevant. For example:
• Toyota Corolla Cross
• Kia Seltos
• Mazda CX‑30
Now you’re comparing apples with apples — not spiralling into 15 tabs and a headache.

Step 2 — Test drive all three
This is where clarity kicks in.
You’ll feel the right one pretty quickly. In fact, most people know after driving two.

Step 3 — Once you’ve chosen your favourite, compare dealer pricing
Now you’re negotiating one car, not trying to make sense of ten different options.
Most people are shocked by how fast the right choice becomes obvious when they stop over‑researching.

Three cars. One decision.
Less overwhelm. Less time wasted.
I use this framework with buyers every day, and it works.

Curious… how many cars did you compare last time you bought one.

Today I was lucky enough to be invited out to Tesla for a look around and to finally experience Tesla's Full Self Driving for myself.

I started at the Tesla Airport facility, had a walk‑through of the space, and then jumped behind the wheel for my first proper drive using FSD.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but we drove from the Airport to the Brand New Franklin St CBD store completely hands and feet free, and watching it handle real Adelaide traffic so confidently was pretty incredible. Definitely one of those moments where you think, “Okay… where can technology go from here?”

And as luck would have it, Tesla also released the Model Y L TODAY so I got to take a look!

A more spacious, more luxurious six‑seat version of the Model Y, complete with a bigger battery and captain’s chairs in the middle row. A really interesting addition to the lineup.

Very grateful to the team at Tesla for the invite and the Drive, if you haven't checked out their showroom its Franklin st in the city.

Huge thanks to Jo for her great Review! Jo went from never buying a new car again to driving her new car in a week.
Congrats again on your new car Jo and Matt, I am so glad we could make it a smooth ride!

This week’s drive has been the Chery Tiggo 4 Ultimate - and it genuinely surprised me.

Before I get into the details, a quick shout‑out to the team at Main North Chery for organising the drive. Always appreciate great service and an easy handover.

Now… Chery as a brand has been making some serious moves in Australia lately. They’ve pushed their way into the Top 10 for new car sales, which says a lot about the growing confidence Aussies are placing in them.
And the Tiggo 4 is a big part of that momentum.

The Urban kicks off at $23,990 drive‑away, which already makes it a sharp value small SUV.
But stepping up to the Ultimate at $26,990 drive‑away adds some genuinely impressive upgrades:
• Leather interior
• Sunroof
• Dual‑zone climate control
• 360° camera
What stood out to me most was how smooth the tech feels. The proximity key means you can hop in and go without digging around for keys - small things that make everyday driving easier.
For the price point, it’s a very strong value package.
If you’re curious about whether the Tiggo 4 could be the right fit for your driveway, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to help you compare options and find what suits your lifestyle and budget.

Would you consider a Chery for your next car given the value it packs or are you sticking with the traditional brands??

“Why do people use you instead of just going to a dealership?”

A salesman asked me that last week whilst I was in a dealership in Adelaide.

It was a fair question.

Dealerships today are far more transparent than they were years ago. Reviews matter. Reputation matters. There are some genuinely excellent teams creating positive buying experiences.

But not everyone wants to walk into a dealership.

Not because dealerships aren’t safe or professional -
but because buying a car can feel BIG! Time-consuming and emotionally loaded.

Some people enjoy the research and negotiation.
Others simply want the car — not the process.

They don’t want to spend hours repeating their brief.
They don’t want to second-guess decisions.
They don’t want to wonder if they overlooked something.

For some - particularly women - past experiences still linger. Even when standards improve, confidence doesn’t automatically reset.

That’s where I fit.

I don’t replace dealerships.
I work alongside them.

I simply help people feel clear and steady before they ever step inside.

Dealerships are a safe place.
But humans have time constraints, emotions and different comfort levels so outsourcing the work makes sense to them.

If this resonates with you and it's time to upgrade your wheels, reach out, I'd love to help bridge the gap between you and your new car.

Buying a car shouldn’t feel like a second job.

Most people don’t have time to compare dealerships, chase quotes, and negotiate back and forth - and honestly, they shouldn’t have to.

That’s where I step in.

I go to market with multiple dealers at once so my clients can compare competitive options without the stress or time drain.

Simple. Efficient. Transparent.

If you're thinking about a new car and want to make the process easier, send me a message today.

🌟 Joyleen’s New Car Day!

Joyleen’s daughter first contacted me because her mum had never bought herself a brand-new car.

She’d been happily driving her Hyundai Tucson for years and loved the size, but wasn’t sure what to choose next.

So we explored a few options and Joyleen did some test drives. Very quickly, the Mazda CX-5 became the clear favourite.

From there I went to market, secured a great price, and arranged delivery close to home — balloons and all 🎈

After delivery Joyleen said something that really stayed with me:

"It doesn’t matter how old you are — it’s never too late for a new car."

And honestly… she’s right.

Congratulations Joyleen and thank you for trusting me to be part of your new car journey. 🚗

Huge thanks as well to Brenton and the team at Murraylands Mazda for helping make it such a special day.

Big thank you to the team at Murray Bridge Toyota for giving me a first drive of the all-new Toyota Hilux SR5

I’ll be honest — I was surprised.

The first thing I noticed?
It feels calmer.

The drive is noticeably more comfortable than previous Hilux models. It still has that solid, capable feel you expect from a ute — but it’s far more composed and settled on the road.

The cabin also feels more refined.
✔️ Spacious layout
✔️ Generous-sized infotainment screen
✔️ Seats that are genuinely more comfortable for everyday driving

It’s clear Toyota has worked hard to make this generation more liveable — not just capable.

If you’ve driven older Hilux models and found them a little firm, this one is worth a fresh look.

Happy to chat if you’re considering one or want to know how it compares to other dual-cab options

Today’s a special one. Warrick picked up his brand‑new Toyota Corolla — timed perfectly to line up with the start of his retirement.
Some clients join you early and make the journey better — Warrick was one of mine.
He was one of my very first customers when She’s Car Curious began, and from the start he had a clear goal:
He wanted his new car to arrive exactly when he wrapped up his career.
So this wasn’t just about getting the right deal or saving time (though we did that too).
It was about planning ahead, keeping in touch, checking progress, and making sure everything lined up with his retirement date.

And we nailed the timing.

Congratulations Warrick — on your new Corolla and on your retirement.
Thank you for trusting me from the very beginning and for being one of my foundation clients. It genuinely means a lot.
And a huge thank you to Chris at for working with us to make it all come together.

Got timing needs or just want to save time and money on your next new car? Send me a message.

Don’t wait for EOFY chaos.

When June hits, it’s rushed decisions, tight stock and everyone scrambling to “get the deal.”

Right now?
There are sharp opportunities sitting in market on:

• Mitsubishi Triton
• Kia Tasman
• Ford Ranger

Plus some serious new metal landing soon — including the Ford Super Duty and the All-New Toyota Hilux.

If your ute is:
✔ Clocking up the kms
✔ Out of warranty
✔ Or just not cutting it anymore

Now is the time to look at upgrading — calmly, properly and without sales pressure.

You don’t need to spend your Saturday at dealerships.

Upgrade your work without leaving the work site or the office.
Send me a message and we’ll sort it.

✨ Just drove the new Geely EX5… and I was genuinely impressed.

For a car sitting in the mid $40k range, you get a LOT of comfort.

The cabin honestly feels like a lounge room on wheels — especially with the reclining massage seats (yes, massage seats 😌). If you’re doing a quick 30-minute DC fast charge, you could easily kick back and relax properly.

The spatial sound system is another standout — including speakers built into the headrests. It creates a really immersive experience without blasting the whole cabin.

And as you’d expect from most EVs, it’s quick off the mark and smooth to drive. Charging is fast on a DC charger, making it practical for everyday life.

Thanks to Nic and the team at Geely Reynella for the extended drive.

If you’ve been curious about stepping into an EV without heading into the $70k+ bracket, this one is definitely worth a look.
