After a challenging Syd Jambo, we headed to the bend for testing, the New Haltech R5 performing well, I was getting it dialed bit by bit, traction being our only problem, but for a new instal and only 0.03 off our pb at 330 we are pretty happy

With qld Jambo kicking off next week, I need to do a big shout out to Darren from . We have been using his billet engines innour Pro cars for 10 years now, his innovation in design of parts for the Rotary engine keeps the sport progressing. In the Rx8 we were having rear bearing problems, running a triple plate slider clutch as we are getting on top of clutch setup it became obvious we needed to change as reliability became an issue, Darren has designed a rear plate with a H/Duty roller bearing as he uses successfully in his mid plate for years now. He has had a few of this new design in cars in the USA and offered us the opportunity to run this setup, we feel this will give us the strength and reliability to push further into the 6’s

If you're lucky you may have seen this little 1300 cruising around, we completed the build late last year, we put a lot of hours into it and it certainly looks the part.

Impossible to list all the work done on this one, but here's some of the basics:

13B bridgeport built motor with a Garrett G series and custom intercooler pipework.
Hilux 9" diff upgrade with trutrac centre
Built C4 trans with B&M shifter, custom t/shaft and transcooler etc
4" turbo back custom exhaust system
50mm t/smart w/gate
90L custom fab fuel cell with built in surge and pumps
custom under car fuel lines and catch can
Willwood front brake conversion, custom rear disc brake conversion
Haltech Elite 2500 with IC7 dash
++ so much more

Very happy customer, and certainly drew its fair share of envious looks while it was in the shop.

Some more photos and a big billet 'J'

Well, it was the very first Adelaide Jamboree event so we thought we'd put in the effort... we're pretty sure we succeeded in a big way!
Strong showing from the Boost WorX rotor entries with 3x 6sec 13Bs with WAT UP G , Gr***de Racing, and of course Pepe's Rx8.
The were so many great moments;
The two fastest Rx2s in the world had a face off in Pro Compact, neither Terry or Alan pulled any punches.
Alan in the green Rx2 getting into the 200mph club with a PB of 6.91s was an awesome moment.
Of course the biggest highlight was Marcus in the red Rx8 clocking a 6.56s in R3 Pro Compact setting up a do or die final with Rodney from Pac Performance in the white Rx8.
We almost didn't make that final after discovering a broken throttle linkage right when we got the call up. After a frantic but fruitless search for something suitable to use for a repair, the questionable decision was made to just cut up a folding chair and weld in a chair leg then send it.
Fortunately it paid off and after a nail biting pedal fest and valiant effort from Rodney, Marcus came out on top for the Pro Compact win!
To all the other Boost WorX customers and cars that showed up, competed and supported the event with us thank you so much, it means a lot to us to see you all there on the weekend and we did our best to get around and say hi.

So happy to part of this event and proud of our state to showcase the new facilities The Bend Motorsport Park, thank you to all the organisers and sponsors who put on an epic perfomance, track conditions were on point.

Big congratulations to Dave BOHZZ Racing for runner up in his catagory and and 8th overall finish. We aimed to get some competitive runs early in the week, with the 2nd day trying for that elusive 7 sec pass.

Super stoked with this result, now bring on Jambo!
