Little woodgrain job a while back for Australian RHD roadster. Had a small section under the moulding to match the ORIGINAL colour and grain and original base colour on reverse side was matched to start to process. Finished in satin . Came out very very close

This is the only RHD 53 Belair Govt Consulate car I’ve ever seen in over 30 years into chevys all 53 Chevs in Australia were 150 base models (I know of four 54s) . Built this in 5 months in the midnight hours back in 2021. Full restyle incl Body , Paint , custom flake roof including rose artwork and pinstriping . New Interior by Carofano Motor Trimmers, all stainless repaired and polished , custom continental kit, steering wheel restored after pearlcote flaked off, satin driftwood style Woodgraining, engine work , custom exhaust……yeh that’s the start 😩

CAR WAS CLEAN ORIGINAL 11k mile car BUT WAS OLD
COMPLETE STRIPDOWN AND LOTS OF BODYWORK
LOTS OF DETAILING BAD FACTORY DEFECTS. GOT RID OF THE UGLY BLACK ROCKER PANELS TERRIBLE FRONT FILLER PANELS AND CHANGED THE COLOUR INSIDE N OUT FROM AN UGLY CUSTARD TO A BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM CORONA CREAM
IN HOUSE STAINLESS REPAIRS BEFORE GOLD PLATING AND FULL STAINLESS POLISH AND ALSO GOT RID OF THE UGLY BLACK PAINTOUTS AND WENT FULL GOLD FLAKE TO POP AGAINST THE CREAM
ENGINE BAY, COMPONENTS AND UNDERCARRIAGE PAINTED AND RE INSTALLED , FULL COLOUR SAND AND POLISH
GOLD PLATING AND DETAILING OF PARTS. CLEANED UP THE UGLY FRONT INNER FENDER LIPS WITH SOME BLACK OUTS
CLEANED DETAILED AND POLISHED AND MASKED AND REPAINTED EVERY INDIVIDUAL SECTION OF THE GRILLE IN GREY LIKE ORIGINAL ALSO POLISHED BUMPERS READY FOR GOLD GUARDS
GOT RID OF THE UGLY WHITE ROOF AND INSTALLED NEW CONVERTIBLE TOP IN BLACK THAT WAS SENT FROM USA (TWICE and still not perfect ) BUT THE BOYS MADE DO AND DID A KILLER JOB WE ALSO COLOUR MATCHED THE FADED PLASTIC INTERIOR PANELS TO THE VINYL INSTALLED A GANGSTER WINDOW TOO

Caravan i painted for my cousins last year. They did an amazing job stripping the whole thing down an rebuilding it with lots of amazing ideas and new technologies. Was a great challenge. Follow for the full build and their amazing new retro adventures
