Today, we conducted a detailed inspection on a new vehicle ( Renault Trafic ) that one of our fleet clients introduced into their operations. During our thorough examination, we discovered several critical issues: the drive belt, drive belt tensioner, and idler pulley were all found to be damaged. Recently, we had the opportunity to assist a customer who brought in his 2013 Hyundai Accent experiencing some concerning issues. Upon arrival, he reported a bad noise coming from under the bonnet, alongside problems with the air conditioning that was not blowing cold air.

Diagnosis and Findings

Engine Noise: We promptly diagnosed the noise and identified that it was emanating from the water pump.

AC Issues:In addition to the engine concerns, we investigated the air conditioning system. Our diagnosis revealed that the faulty AC compressor and TX valve were the root causes of the lack of cool air.

Repair Process

Despite it being a long weekend, our team was dedicated to providing swift service. We quickly sourced all necessary parts from our reliable suppliers to ensure minimal downtime for the customer.

1. Water Pump Replacement:
- While replacing the water pump, we encountered a challenge: the top water pump bolt had broken.
- We carefully removed the broken bolt and repaired the thread before successfully installing the new water pump.

2. AC System Maintenance: As part of our thorough AC diagnosis, we checked the AC filter and discovered it was completely blocked.
We replaced the filter and proceeded to re-gas the AC system.

Results

After completing the repairs:
The engine noise was eliminated with the new water pump installed.

2.Comprehensive Maintenance
*Crank and Cam Seals: We replaced these vital seals to prevent any oil leaks and maintain engine integrity.
*Adjuster Pulley: The adjuster pulley was also swapped out, ensuring proper tension on the timing belt.

2. **Dash Removal**: To access the heater core, we carefully removed the entire dashboard and evaporator box.
3. **AC System Recovery**: We safely recovered the gas from the AC system to ensure no refrigerant was wasted.
4. **Heater Core Replacement**: The old heater core was removed and replaced with the new one, along with the new plastic connectors.

We took the time to explain the entire situation to the customer, detailing the implications of a malfunctioning compressor and the necessary steps for resolution. We provided quotes for both a genuine Hyundai compressor and a non-genuine alternative. After considering the options, the customer opted for the non-genuine compressor due to its cost-effectiveness.

The customer reported that the tail light was not functioning, and the turn signals were working sporadically. Our team quickly diagnosed the issue.

2.Tail Light Replacement
We supplied and replaced the broken tail light with a genuine part. This resolved the immediate visibility concern for the customer.

3.Hazard Circuit Diagnosis
After addressing the tail light, we proceeded to diagnose the hazard circuit. Our skilled auto electricians discovered that the indicator lever was faulty and exhibited resistance, which was affecting the signal operation.

4.Comprehensive Circuit Check

At our workshop, we recently undertook an auto electrical repair on a Mercedes-Benz AL200. The customer arrived with concerns about numerous warning lights illuminated on the dashboard and a significant loss of power steering. To diagnose the issue, we performed a comprehensive scan of the vehicle, which revealed a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicating a malfunction with the left front wheel speed sensor.

Upon further inspection of the wheel speed sensor, we discovered that rodents had cut the sensor wire. Additionally, they had caused damage to the connector that links the sensor to the main wiring loom. This was a critical issue, as it not only affected the sensor's functionality but also contributed to the various warning lights and steering problems the customer was experiencing.

Our team of specialized auto electricians took a meticulous approach to the repair. Instead of opting to replace the entire wiring loom, which would have incurred significant costs for the customer, we carefully removed the damaged connector. We then repaired it professionally, using specialized wires to ensure a robust and reliable connection.
