I am so excited to officially announce that I have rightfully earned my position to compete in the remaining rounds of the 2022 bLU cRU Oceania Junior Cup (OJC). I am ready to learn, I am ready to fight, and I am ready to give this once in a lifetime opportunity my all. I can’t thank everyone from the OJC organisation enough for this 🏁
In just a few weeks time, I will be heading to Morgan Park Raceway in Queensland to compete in my very first round of OJC, which makes up Round 4 of the overall championship.
While I only started my road racing journey in February this year, my goal was to work my way into the OJC in 2023, so to hit that target 6 months early is an absolute dream come true. As with anything, this wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of some very important people.
I couldn’t possibly be where I am today without the constant support, coaching and encouragement from my coaches and sponsors, Ted Collins Racing and Tayla Relph #28 from South West Track Days. I am so thankful for your professionalism and knowledge with your rider training, the drive you both have for seeking out opportunities to progress my racing career, and for you both pushing my confidence and striving to build the best version of myself out on track. Thank you both for bringing this opportunity to life.
I am also heading into this round with confidence knowing I have what it takes to be at the front, with thanks to Kym Bolto and the rest of the South Australian Junior Cup - junior road race crew, who allowed me to compete as a wildcard in their Championship at the beginning of the year, racing on their Yamaha R15. This was an eye opening experience for me that further lead to my OJC dream becoming a reality.
To keep up to date with where I’ll be racing, below is the remaining rounds of 2022 Oceania Junior Cup ⬇️
