Here’s the second vehicle I detailed today, this belongs to one of my regular customers who has decided it’s time to sell. A bit of luck came my way today, with both vehicles I detailed being under cover. You certainly don’t get spoiled like that every day!

The first vehicle was a Toyota Hilux that was in need of a full detail. As a hardworking work vehicle, regular detailing isn’t always a priority, so it was definitely time for a makeover. As usual, just as I finished washing it and moved it under a huge carport, big enough for six or seven cars, the heavens opened up and the rain started pouring down.

Overall, it was a very satisfying day, and another happy customer.

With the wetter weather starting to arrive, it’s still important to stay on top of your vehicle’s cleanliness. Even if the exterior has to wait for a dry day, keeping the interior clean and hygienic makes a big difference.

Another big challenge today, spending around 5.5 hours completing a full detail on this Mazda. This one was a little different, as no harsh chemicals were used due to the owners having a newborn baby. Instead, I carefully cleaned the entire interior using baby shampoo, which definitely made removing all the grime and sand a lot more challenging.

Even with the extra difficulty, the results still came up really well, and most importantly, the owners were very happy with how it turned out — which is always the goal.

If you’re expecting your first child, it’s actually a great idea to have your vehicle professionally detailed about a week before the baby arrives. This allows me to safely use the correct products beforehand to remove the dirt, bacteria, dust, and build-up that can collect inside your car over time.

With the weather slowing things down a little, I’m still out there doing what I can and keeping the cars looking their best. Today I was in Moana completing a full detail on this Subaru XV.

Today Time To Detail was in Moana completing a full detail on this Nissan Micra for a family getting the vehicle ready for their daughter’s first car. Another busy day for Time To Detail today, this time travelling to Hackham West where I completed a full detail on this stunning Isuzu MU-X. I’ve always liked the colour on these vehicles and this one looked even better once it had been properly cleaned and brought back to life.

The exterior came up great, but the real challenge was definitely the interior. There was a huge amount of dog hair throughout the vehicle which added quite a bit of extra time to the job. It took roughly 2.5 hours on the interior alone to remove the hair, vacuum thoroughly and get everything looking clean and fresh again, but with patience and the right equipment, the end result was worth it.

It’s always satisfying seeing such a big transformation from start to finish, especially when a vehicle has been heavily used and just needs some extra attention to bring it back up to a great standard again.
