ANNOUNCEMENT!

$350 Cash... quickest lap Saturday!

The Truck Factory Wynarka Bob Shegog Memorial Wynarka Enduro has had a most generous offer made to it

Adrian Gardiner Electrical will be putting up $350 to the competitor that has the Fastest lap during the 6 laps of Section 1, Saturday afternoon of the Wynarka Enduro.

So all you Outright contenders, here is your big opportunity to win some cash for your team.

There are still a couple of big kids missing from the start list, maybe this will get them over the line.

We would like to thank Adrian and Sam of AG Electrical, Port Augusta, for supporting our event and helping to promote grass roots Off Road Racing.

Ask yourself the question.....

Am I competing at Rainbow this weekend... If I do well, will I want to get more series points at Wynarka?... If YES... you better register!

Do I race a Class 10, my car is reliable, and I could do with some extra cash?.... if Yes... The Class 10 Stampede is paying cash down to 5th.... you better register!

Did I run at Rankin Springs last weekend, and come away unscathed?... need some points for the Southern States Series?.... if Yes... you better register!

The Truck Factory Bob Shegog Memorial Wynarka Enduro is hotting up with some top flight competitors in all classes, so if you want to be part of the largest Wynarka Field in over 12 years.......... you better register!

Think about this.....

As a competitor..... Section 1 Saturday... start 2 at a time at 15 second intervals... that means 2 cars to catch 15 seconds up the road, and 2 cars behind you giving you a 15 second head start.... You better be on to it!

As a spectator, Action a plenty.... stand in 1 spot on the edge of the camping area, and cars pass you 4 times per lap.... that's 200 car passes per lap, and you can see in real time how your favourite driver is going.

But wait there's more... (no Steak knives)... there will be an announcement later this afternoon for the outright runners.... watch this space

AORRA Fire Suppression Update

Due to the current media attention surrounding fire suppression, AORRA wishes to advise that, following consultation with AASA, fire suppression systems will not be made mandatory for the 2026 season.

Discussions are ongoing regarding potential requirements for 2027. Once a decision has been reached, AORRA will endeavour to provide clear recommendations regarding suitable systems, installation requirements, potential suppliers and the types of suppression agents available.

AASA has advised the immediate implementation of onboard fire suppression systems is voluntary and highly recommended. For season 2026 it is not mandatory.

AORRA will continue to work with AASA and advise all competitors on 2027 requirements with the industry expertise at hand and consultation taken in the best interests in the sport.

We thank everyone for their patience and understanding while these discussions continue.

All Summit club members, please note....

From Monday all Motorsport Australia Off Road events will require ALL cars to have plumbed Fire Suppression systems fitted irrespective of Class.

This directive overrides all previous notifications regarding fire suppression system requirements.

This information comes from an announcement at the Mini Pave 250 from the chief Scrutineer

Locally this means Mannum and Nationally Kalgoorlie.
