To our Australian customers regarding 12 x 8.0-6 TX-11 treaded tire production:

Edwards Kart Wheels has been in regular communication with us in regards to their needs as we have been trying to navigate the waters and manage manufacturing challenges. The past 18-24 months have created some unusual circumstances that have caused many shortages here and abroad and has made the manufacturing process very unpredictable. The supply chain/materials environment appears to be stabilizing as of late, allowing us to broaden our focus to include the 12 x 8.0-6 TX-11’s.

We are in the process of pushing a large run of the 8.0 TX-11’s into the building schedule in the coming weeks and hope to have them headed in that direction soon. We are unable to give any specific timeline at the moment as everything in the process is still fluid, but things are moving forward.

We appreciate the support and will keep Edwards Kart Wheels in the loop as information becomes available to pass along

Hey all. Just a quick statement from Burris in the US and some of the challenges they are facing, resulting in the tyre shortage in the US and here. Cant stress enough the hard work the guys are putting to get this resolved. Any questions feel free to call us on 088 347 1941. Regards Darren

We want to post a quick update as to the current state of things with regards to Burris tires. We recognize that inventory and supply have been difficult and we have been actively working to fill the gaps and manage production to take care of the increased market demands and get tires in the hands of the racers. The past couple of years have presented challenges that no one could have predicted. Between the increased market demands, the factory fire a little more than 18 months ago and current materials shortages, we have been faced with numerous hurdles that we have been working to manage and overcome. Even with shipping significantly more tires out the door in 2021 than any previous year, supply was hit and miss along the way. Whether it be from increased demand or “toilet paper syndrome”, we are pushing to further increase production numbers for 2022.

Currently, our production focus is on the SS-33A and Outlaw Kart lines. As we get further down the road there will be other sizes and compounds added to the schedule to take care of those needs. At the moment, we have had to prioritize according to the current demand and backlog.

There have been significant numbers of tires shipped already in 2022 with more in production that will be finding their way out into the system in the coming days and weeks.

We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding as we push through these challenges. Rest assured that we are working hard to get product out .
