We can finally put up a bit more info on a Mechanical FTE we did a while back.
We got Phil’s 105 Landcruiser in a very very sad state earlier this year.
He took it to another shop in town with a lot of promises and very poor results.
Whilst they were on the hunt for grunt they somehow managed to run the engine with little to no oil, resulting in catastrophic engine failure!
When the vehicle arrived we stripped it down and it was evident they were at fault. We prepared an engine report for Phil and left the rest to him.
After a few months of legal action we were given the go ahead to do things right - sadly the second time around 😔
We converted a 1HDFTE to mechanical fuel system - essentially a 1HDFT.
It was essentially a standard engine and produced some wicked numbers for a stock engine.
We are looking forward to doing a few more mods and adding the finishing touches👌

2018 Mitsubishi triton in for a little tickle up

This one already had a heavy duty clutch and 3” exhaust fitted already.
All that was left to do was tie everything together with a remap.

Nice gains of roughly 17kw and 69nm

We had Daniel’s 1JZ Cressida on the rollers this morning.
Essentially a stock engine with upgraded turbo, fuel system and ignition system tied in with a Haltech Elite 750.
Built up 2 tunes, a low and high boost.

Made a stout 337.5rwkw on high boost

Finished up the week with this VDJ79.

First run on the dyno showed 113kw at the rears.

We then fitted a new NPC1300 clutch, removed intake and gave it a clean and while we were in there we provided an EGR solution.

We then strapped it back onto the dyno and provided a custom tune punching out a healthy 156kw at the rears.

HDJ80 tune 👌

We had Sam’s 1HDT on the rollers today.
He already had a PDI front mount and Munro high flow turbo fitted.
First run showed 78kw and a lot of room to move fuel wise.
After a few pump adjustments we managed to get it producing 130kw!
We managed this whilst staying safe with the AFRs.
