Heraus zum 8. März! ✊ Gewalt ist global - unser Aufstand auch! 🌏
Weltweit nehmen patriarchale Gewalt, autoritäre Politik und faschistisches Gedankengut zu und werden immer salonfähiger. Mit Desinformation, Unterdrückung und dem Abbau von Grundrechten werden demokratische Strukturen ausgehöhlt. Auch in Staaten wie Österreich stehen Sozialabbau, eine neoliberale Kürzungspolitik und damit die Vertiefung von Ungleichheiten und eine Zunahme rechter Kräfte auf der Tagesordnung. Doch internationale Aufstände – wie beispielsweise in den USA, im Iran, in Gaza oder im kurdischen Autonomiegebiet Syriens – zeigen, wie mächtig Widerstand ist. Der abgeschnittene Zopf einer kurdischen Kämpferin wurde vor Kurzem zum Symbol einer feministischen Bewegung, die Freiheit, Würde und das Leben aller verteidigt. Am 8. März, dem internationalen feministschen Kampftag, gehen wir gemeinsam auf die Straße – gegen patriarchale Gewalt, Faschismus und soziale Kälte - in Österreich und weltweit. Für Solidarität, Gerechtigkeit und eine befreite Gesellschaft! Unsere Kämpfe verbinden. Unser Aufstand ist global.

Violence is global – and so is our uprising
Patriarchal violence, authoritarian politics, and fascist ideology are on the rise worldwide and seem to become increasingly acceptable. Democratic structures are being undermined by disinformation, oppression, and the dismantling of fundamental rights. Even in countries like Austria we wittness social cuts, neoliberal economic policies, and the deepening of inequalities, resulting in the rise of right-wing forces. But international uprisings – such as in the US, Iran, Gaza, and the Kurdish autonomous region of Syria – show how powerful resistance can be. The cut-off braid of a Kurdish fighter recently became a symbol of a feminist movement that defends freedom, dignity, and the lives of all. On March 8th, we will take to the streets together - against patriarchal violence, fascism, and social apathy – in Austria and around the world. For solidarity, justice, and a liberated society!
