So here it is: The Austrian Rally premiere of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2! Thanks to from .austria we managed to get one of the first ones and you can see it in action next weekend at the Almost 25 years ago I rallied an original Martini Integrale with .schwarz so it’s nice to be back in a new one…..and please don’t tell me it’s a Citroen since I am old enough to know that the original Integrale was based on a Fiat Ritmo….the good pictures are by the bad ones by me!

This old beat up car was my best buy ever! Not because it is so beautiful or special but because of the history and memories it provides for me. A few days ago my old friend Klaus called me and asked what my father’s name was. Surprised I asked him why he wanted to know and he said that he found a 50 year old car that could have been my fathers! So it turns out that this old, green Mercedes SLC only had one more owner and never went anywhere far from my old home in St.Pölten. It was 10 years old when I got my drivers license so my dad let me drive it before I later got a Fiat Uno Turbo. So thanks to everyone who helped me bring this piece of history home. And thanks to the VW specialists from Janker who let me have it back! Best birthday present ever! 🎂 🎁 🙏🥰

What do you think of my daily driver combination? A 911 was out of question since I needed minimum space for the dog, traveling and golf… and if I need more space the Classic Range Rover by is wonderful! Maybe I am getting old but I really like the Mercedes AMG GT63 and so does my neighbors cat as you can see in the last picture….

Thank you Portugal! 🇵🇹 I was not so lucky concerning results but I am very lucky concerning life to be able to relive my lifelong passion of rallying and being able to return to the place of my first world championship in 1993! Coming back to Portugal with .schwarz after more than 30 years has been so nice to us so far until the car stopped on the first stage with fuel pressure problems…. But thanks to my great team it looks like we can start tomorrow and hopefully set some more fastest stage times!
