REDS GP 2026! 🔥🇮🇹

Erst einmal vielen Dank an das Ospyteam R/C Off- Road Circuit Model für dieses sensationelle Rennen!

Es waren drei Tage voller Arbeit. Die größte Herausforderung stellte die Reifenwahl, denn von Lauf zu Lauf hat sich die Strecke enorm verändert und somit mussten auch immer andere Reifen gefahren werden. Letztendlich lief unser Mayako MX8E nach einigen Setupänderungen einwandfrei und noch nie haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt.

Christian Wegner fuhr ins 1/8 Finale und wurde dort 6.
Mic Wegner qualifizierte sich für das 1/4 Finale und kämpfte sich auf den 2. Platz und somit konnte er ins Halbfinale aufsteigen.

Leider fiel der Sonntag/Finaltag ins Wasser und die Vorläufe wurden gewertet.🌧😢

REDS GP 2026! 🔥🇮🇹

First of all, a big thank you to the Ospyteam R/C Off-Road Circuit Model for this amazing race!

It was three days of hard work. The biggest challenge was choosing the right tires, because the track changed completely from run to run. Because of this, we had to change tires every time. In the end, our Mayako MX8E ran perfectly after a few setup changes, and we felt better than ever before.

Christian Wegner drove in the 1/8 final and finished in 6th place.
Mic Wegner qualified for the 1/4 final, fought his way to 2nd place, and moved up to the semi-final.

Unfortunately, Sunday (the finals day) was rained out, so the qualifying results were used for the final standings. 🌧😢

Final results based on qualification:
• Mic Wegner: P26
• Christian Wegner: P39

Thank you to the TR-Racing Team for the great weekend! We also met many great new people!

Now, the 2026 season is slowly coming to an end. Next up: practicing for the VRC Worlds this winter!

Zu unserer Performance.
Es war wieder ein ereignissreiches Rennen mit vielen Setup-Änderungen, Anpassungen und wieder einer langen Samstagnacht. Doch die Arbeit hat sich gelohnt, denn in den Finalen liefen unsere Mayako MX8E ausgezeichnet.

40+ Euro 1/8 Buggy 🏁

Zu aller Erst geht ein großes Dankeschön an das WMW - RC BUGGY RACING TEAM FEHRING für die tolle Organisation! Dieses Rennen wird uns auf jeden Fall in Erinnerung bleiben!

Hinter uns liegt ein wundervolles, aber auch arbeitsreiches Event. Das Setup von unserem Mayako MX8 super, allerdings hatten wir massive Probleme mit dem Motor. Wir haben alles versucht, mussten dann aber am Samstagabend die Reißleine ziehen und den Motor für den Sonntag komplett tauschen.

Durch die Probleme im Training und in den Vorläufen hieß es am Sonntag: Start im 64tel-Finale.

Mit dem neuen Motor lief es dann deutlich besser. Wir konnten uns zwei Finale nach oben kämpfen und haben es bis ins 16tel-Finale geschafft.

Am Ende ist es Platz 65 für Christian Wegner geworden!

Fazit: Es war am Ende definitiv mehr drinnen, aber wir haben alles gegeben und das Beste aus der Situation gemacht.

Es war uns eine Freude Joseph Quagraine sowie die Menschen hinter TRC kennen zu lernen!

Ein großes Dankeschön geht an Re Ne Kargl für die tolle Unterstützung am gesamten Wochenende!

40+ Euro 1/8 Buggy 🏁

First of all, a big thank you to the WMW - RC BUGGY RACING TEAM FEHRING for the great organization! We will definitely remember this race!

Behind us is a wonderful but hard-working event. The setup of our Mayako MX8 was great, but we had massive problems with the engine. We tried everything, but on Saturday evening we had to make a tough decision and completely replaced the engine for Sunday.

Due to the problems in practice and qualifying, we had to start in the 1/64 final on Sunday.

With the new engine, things went much better. We managed to bump up twice and made it into the 1/16 final.

In the end, it was 65th place for Christian Wegner!

Conclusion: There was definitely more in it, but we gave it our all and made the best of the situation.

It was a pleasure to meet Joseph Quagraine aswell as the guys behind TRC!

A big thank you to Re Ne Kargl for the great support throughout the entire weekend!
