Zandvoort, du hast geliefert. 🌊🏁

Starkes Rennen für razoon – more than racing im ADAC GT Masters auf dem Circuit Zandvoort.

Unser Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) #14 mit Mark Kastelic und Pavel Lefterov zeigte eine starke Aufholjagd und fuhr von Position 11 bis auf P7 nach vorne. 💪

Auch die #41 mit Colin Bönighausen und Leo Pichler war stark unterwegs: von P9 bis auf P5 nach vorne gekämpft. In der Schlussphase wurde das Rennen leider durch einen Reifenschaden bei Leo Pichler eingebremst – bis dahin eine richtig starke Performance.

Trotz allem: viel Pace, starker Einsatz und echtes Teamwork. Genau dafür steht razoon – more than racing.

Danke an das gesamte Team für den unglaublichen Job an diesem Wochenende. Weiter geht’s. 🏁

ADAC GT MASTERS SEASON OPENER:
HOME RACE AT THE RED BULL RING WITH STRONG PARTNERS!
- The 2026 ADAC GT Masters season kicks off this coming weekend at the Red Bull Ring
- “razoon – more than racing” is hoping for maximum fan support at this major home race
- To mark the start of the season, razoon welcomes “NovaLabs” as a new, strong partner
The first two races of the 2026 ADAC GT Masters season are just around the corner: on Saturday
(April 25, 2026) and Sunday (April 26, 2026), the German GT3 racing series will kick off at the Red
Bull Ring with one-hour sprint races, in which many top-tier driver duos will battle for points and
podium finishes. Right in the thick of it are the two Porsche 911 GT3 Rs from the Styrian team
“razoon – more than racing”
, driven by the pairings Leo Pichler/Colin Bönighausen and Mark
Kastelic/Pavel Lefterov, who naturally have big plans for this major “home race”
Team owner Dominik Olbert: “Motivation is naturally very high for our home races, but at the same
time, we obviously want to get off to a clean, mistake-free start to the season, so we can’t overdo it.
In any case, it would be great if we could make it onto the podium – the potential is definitely there,
and the team has done a perfect job so far. What’s particularly exciting is that we get to welcome
our new, strong partner NovaLabs here at the Red Bull Ring, and we’re really looking forward to
working with them!”

GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE

We kicked off our season in the GT World Challenge Europe with a strong and committed effort as Razoon – more than racing. At the challenging Circuit Paul Ricard, we fought hard and brought the car home in P9 in the Bronze class and P40 overall. It’s a result we can build on, and we’re already looking forward to the next race.

razoon – more than racing makes its debut in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup

This weekend (10–11 April), the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup kicks off at Circuit Paul Ricard. With 59 GT3 cars on the grid, the series is considered the “Formula 1 of GT racing.” razoon – more than racing will make its Endurance Cup debut and contest the full SRO season for the first time, after gaining initial experience in last year’s Sprint Cup round at Misano.

The team enters the Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo ( #914) in the Bronze Cup, driven by Dominik Olbert, Gerhard Tweraser, and rising talent Benjamin Paque. The 21-year-old Belgian recently impressed with overall pole position at the Dubai 24 Hours and brings strong Porsche one-make series experience. “I’m really excited for my debut and hope for a strong result,” said Paque.

Team owner Olbert will make his GT3 debut at Le Castellet, having already shown strong pace in testing. “It has always been our dream to compete here. Racing the full season makes us very proud,” he said. Experienced GT3 driver Tweraser completes the line-up, bringing international success and quickly adapting to the Porsche. The goal: a podium finish in the Bronze Cup.

The six-hour race starts Saturday at 18:00 and finishes under the lights, creating a unique atmosphere. It will be streamed live on YouTube and broadcast on SKY Sport F1.

RAZOON STEPS UP AFTER STRONG DEBUT SEASON: TWO PORSCHE 911 GT3 R ENTERED FOR ADAC GT MASTERS 2026

After an impressive debut campaign, the Austrian team “razoon – more than racing” is stepping up its commitment to the ADAC GT Masters in 2026. Based near Graz, the squad expands its international program while staying true to its roots by fielding two Porsche 911 GT3 R entries for the upcoming season.

Team owner Dominik Olbert has appointed experienced team manager Christoph Huber to lead the effort across six race weekends, overseeing two competitive driver pairings.

The first duo features Colin Bönighausen and Leo Pichler. Both are young yet already proven in GT racing: Bönighausen is a race winner in the Porsche Carrera Cup, while Pichler secured a podium finish in last year’s ADAC GT Masters. Their shared ambition is clear—fighting for top positions and the championship.

The second pairing brings together Slovenia’s Mark Kastelic and Bulgaria’s Pavel Lefterov. Kastelic steps up from ADAC GT4 Germany, while Lefterov arrives as the 2025 ADAC Prototype Cup champion, adding valuable experience to the lineup. Together, they aim to establish themselves in the competitive GT3 field and challenge for strong results.

Team manager Christoph Huber is optimistic: both driver lineups offer great potential, with podium finishes as a clear target. While the championship fight will require consistency and some luck, razoon is determined to give its all throughout the 2026 season.

Simon Birch full season in GTWC Sprint with razoon

In 2026, he will compete in the full GT World Challenge Sprint season with Razoon – more than racing, driving the Porsche 992 GT3 R. After scoring race wins in the 2025 ADAC GT Masters, overall GT Masters Championship P3 and gaining valuable experience with a guest start in the GT World Challenge Europe at Misano, Simon is ready for the next big challenge.

RAZOON @ GT4 EURO 2026

razoon – more than racing will compete in the 2026 GT4 European Series with two BMW M4 GT4 cars in the Pro-Am class. The Austrian team has been part of the series since 2019 and continues to expand its presence in international GT racing.

Önder Erdem and Gustavo Xavier will once again share one car. Despite limited appearances last season, they showed strong pace and achieved notable results, aiming to build on that momentum. The second car will be driven by Daniel Drexel and British driver Chris Salkeld, a 2023 British GT Pro-Am champion and 2024 Dubai 24H GT3 Am winner.

All drivers are focused on consistently achieving strong results and fighting for podium finishes. Team principal Dominik Olbert highlights the experience within the lineup and sees strong potential for success in the Pro-Am class.

The GT4 European Series consists of six race weekends within the GT World Challenge Europe support program. The season starts in April at Le Castellet and ends in October at Portimão. Each event features two one-hour races, available via livestream.
