Next month Ishamael will be finishing the Marine Systems course , and heading back home to Antigua. We would like to express our gratitude to all those that have assisted Ishamael in any way. Many of you are not seeking recognition, which shows the purity of your actions. We’re very much looking forward to having a newly trained member of our technical team come home and show us what he’s learned, back in the field on the yachts and in the workshops. Moving forward we hope to be sending more keen young Antiguan trainees to both IYRS in Newport, RI as well as the in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Where they can study not just marine systems but the full spectrum of disciplines required to build and maintain yachts. Well done Ishmael for doing such a good job representing your country and blazing the trail for many more to follow.

Our youngest apprentice so far started building himself a toy yacht today. thankyou
