في يوم المعلم العالمي، نستذكر المرحوم عبدالله مجان، أحد الأسماء الرائدة في تاريخ قطاع السيارات في دولة الإمارات.
يُعد عبدالله مجان أول ميكانيكي في الدولة وصاحب أول كراج متكامل في دبي، والذي تأسس عام 1951. ولم يكن أثره مقتصراً على إصلاح السيارات والابتكار في مجال الميكانيكا فحسب، بل امتد أيضاً إلى نقل المعرفة وتعليم كثيرين أسرار المهنة.
لأن أثر المعلم لا يكون دائماً في الصفوف الدراسية فقط، بل قد يكون أيضاً في الورش، وفي الخبرة، وفي كل يد تنقل المعرفة بإخلاص.
On World Teachers’ Day, we remember the late Abdullah Majan, one of the pioneering names in the history of the UAE’s automotive sector.
Abdullah Majan is regarded as the country’s first mechanic and the founder of one of Dubai’s first fully equipped garages, established in 1951. His impact was not limited to vehicle repair and mechanical innovation, but also extended to sharing knowledge and teaching many the secrets of the trade.
Because the impact of a teacher is not always found only in classrooms. Sometimes, it lives in workshops, in experience, and in every hand that passes knowledge on with dedication.
