Constructed from 1.25-inch stainless steel tubing, these crash bars are more than twice as strong as standard 1-inch bars, providing the heavy R 1300 GS with maximum protection in a real crash.
5-axis laser-cut joints are hand-TIG welded—not crimped—so the tubing retains its full round shape and strength at every connection.
With no plastic spacers or bumpers, crash forces are distributed evenly through the bars instead of concentrating at weak points.
