An AC Cobra, a Range Rover Classic, a Land Cruiser LC70, a Fintail, a Corvette Stingray in olive green. The 1959 Cadillac comes from the year they lost their heads over fins. Behind it a 993 Turbo, the last of the air cooled ones. Somewhere in the middle sits a 500 E, the Mercedes-Benz that Porsche built and hardly anybody notices. Most of them are ours to sell and most never reach a listing. Then there's what has already gone through our hands, and that's the part that counts when somebody asks what these cars are worth. Porsches of every generation, 356 to 992. Aston Martins up to the DB9. Bentley Arnage, Azure and Brooklands, Rolls-Royce up to 2002, purist BMW M cars and the pre merger AMG Hammers. The rest have gone to good homes. If the cars you want aren't in the hall, tell us the model, the colour and the gearbox. We'll take it as a standing mandate and go looking. Some take years. A quiet search stays quiet. And if there's something under a sheet in your garage, ask me what it's worth. I'll tell you whether it's an investment or a very expensive shed ornament. I enjoy that far too much to charge for it.
