Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival partners with Octanium for landmark Le Mans 60s category!

Le Mans 60s will feature a three-hour race between pre-’66 GT, GTP and Touring Cars represented by the legendary GT40. The category will also include pre-’61 Sports Cars and pre-’66 cars up to two litres.

Participants in the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE taking place from 3-7 December will have the opportunity to join the glamorous Revival in the Le Mans 60s category, provided they compete in an eligible vehicle.

Francesca Parolin, General Manager of 1000 Miglia Srl, presents Octanium CEO and founder Martin Halder with a special award at the closing ceremony of the 1000 Miglia 2022, recognizing the UAE-based company’s efforts in organizing the first 1000 Miglia Experience UAE Prologue held from February 18-20.

The prize-giving ceremony took place at the Drivers Evening of the 1000 Miglia in Italy 2022 in front of 400 assembled drivers, local dignitaries, media, sponsors and partners.

The Prologue provided Middle East and selected international participants with a preview of the full December event, covering 700km over three days with 43 participating teams – the largest regularity rally ever held on the Arabian Peninsula.

Octanium CEO Martin Halder said: “We feel very honored to have received this prestigious award. It recognises our efforts over the past year to bring the world’s most beautiful race to the world’s most exciting city. The Prologue was an enormous success – and with an overbooked entry list already, we look forward to even greater heights with the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE in December 2022.”
