CRAFTSMANSHIP DESERVES THE RIGHT FINISH 🪵

Commissioned by a customer as a bespoke Paul Kruger coin and medal collection display cabinet, this exceptional piece was handcrafted by Thys over approximately three to four months.

Built predominantly from solid Kiaat, the cabinet incorporates precision joinery and carefully executed Oak, Cedar, Mahogany and Maple inlays, with every detail individually crafted to create a truly one-of-a-kind collector’s piece ✨

For work of this calibre, the final finish is critical.

Thys was also the first craftsman to test our new NOVA 22 WAXTHANE, choosing to use it on this valuable commissioned project before the product’s official launch 🙌🏼

That level of confidence in a new finish says a great deal.

NOVA 22 WAXTHANE – Premium Hardwax Oil enriches the natural depth, warmth and grain of the Kiaat, enhances the contrast of the different timber inlays and leaves the surface with a refined, natural appearance that complements the craftsmanship rather than overpowering it.
