It's with a heavy heart that ive decided to close off the Superscoot brand you've all known since 2010.

We relocated to Sedgefield on a shoestring budget in 2023 and dealt with the associated challenges as and when they came along. Staring in a dusty barn on a farm just outside town had had its quirks. I have now outgrown the barn ,and the quirks!

Creating a demand for a service is never a quick thing, and 2024 proved that, undoubtedly. BUT, 2025 saw a great amount of support from new customers, family and friends. That set superscoot on a trajectory that allowed the workshop to establish itself as a noteworthy service provider in the garden route.

Relationships were built, some were tested and others proved to be invaluable. This sequence of events set in motion a chain of unstoppable events the universe has pushed me to follow.

Once again on a shoestring budget and the faith in direction, the workshop will relocate to Knysna, to 3 Market Street.

So for the next three weeks, the open jobs here in Sedgefield will be completed to allow for a fresh start with new branding at the new shop!

Its been a couple of months of a whirlwind of an adventure and an adjustment to align this move and I look forward to officially releasing the branding and opening doors on the first of May 2026.

I can't express my gratitude for your support, patience and understanding over the last few months. There is now a solid path forward and I look forward to new challenges, faces and machines!

I've been busy with a suzuki vz800, the rear carb was just dumping fuel into the cylinder.

Upon inspection, the float had imploded due to air pressure differences between GP and sea level.

Strange... but a new float will be fitted!

Independent workshops can carry more experience and knowledge than an 'official dealer'. And that comes with years of experience and knowledge gathering.

Don't be misled. Do your homework, folks...

You can send your machines to an independent workshop and enjoy your manufacturers warranty

Re-jetted and synchronized carburettors
Upgraded the clutch basket backing plate
New tappet cover gasket
New clutch cover gasket and all round tlc.

Running like it was 100 years ago.
