Start getting your car detailed sooner rather than later! I have never had a first time detailing customer not be absolutely shocked at the result in the best way, try me! Stop going for cheap washes and valet services done by inexperienced staff only working for salary and get someone passionate about cleaning your car to the best level possible.
There are many people out there using the word Detailing because it sells, but few really know what it's about. It isn't frothing up an engine bay with as much soap as possible, rather understanding how it works and taking extra care like waiting for the engine to cool properly, covering the intake, on older cars shielding the distributor from water and not using high pressure around electrical components, not blasting an alternator with degreaser and water just so it looks good after the work is done instead taking the time to hand clean and cover before using possibly damaging water and soaps.
The interior of your car is made up of many different materials, delicate air vents and window button controls which need to be kept in perfect working order for your comfort, a screen or buttons on the center console and a screen or gauge cluster you look at every time you take a drive. Why not ONLY trust passionate specialists with those expensive and sometimes delicate components? I know I would.
