• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS AND METHODS
• ABILITY TO HANDLE VARIOUS TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
• MUST BE IN EXCELLENT PHYSICAL CONDITION TO DO THE JOB EFFICIENTLY
• VALID CERTIFICATION AND QUALIFICATIONS WITH COMPLETION OF APPRENTICESHIP IS PREFERRED BUT NEGOTIABLE

**SKILLED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN TO START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE**
HOURS: MON – FRI (07:00 – 17:00)
SALARY: WILL BE DISCUSSED DURING INTERVIEW
Must be able to work independently at times and be able to communicate and provide advice to clients if needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately
• To Inspect vehicle computers and electronic systems, as well as repairs and maintenance
• Conduct routine maintenance (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix any other faults (e.g. leaks etc.)
• Keep logs on work and faults
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
REQUIREMENTS
• 5-8 years experience with contactable references as an auto mechanical technician
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components on vehicles
• Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
• Ability to handle various tools and equipment
• Willingness to observe all safety practices and precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
• Must be in excellent physical condition to do the job efficiently
• Valid certification and qualifications with completion of apprenticeship is preferred but negotiable
