Today’s race is not just another race day.
Today, we race in honour of Alexander.

A young boy whose courage, strength and spirit touched more lives than words could ever explain. After bravely fighting brain cancer for the past few years, this week we sadly said our goodbye.

Last year, we stood together for cancer awareness and dedicated a race to Alexander — hoping to create awareness and support for the battle so many families face. Never did we imagine that one day we would be racing in his memory.

Although our hearts may never fully understand why this had to be Alexander’s journey, we trust that God had greater plans for him beyond this world. What we do know is that Alexander left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew him. His smile, his bravery and his presence inspired so many people and reminded us all how precious life truly is.

Today we honour a fighter.
A friend.
A beautiful soul gone far too soon.

May every lap raced today carry his memory forward.
Rest easy, Alexander. You will never be forgotten. 🕊️💛
