Audi South Africa SQ7 Economy Update

We made it home with an astonishing 9.9L/100km average. Started the trip with a 740km range, ended with a remaining 580km, meaning we used 160km range on a 300km trip. All from a 4.0L V8? Impressive is an understatement.

C3 Aircross Max

Yesterday we joined the Stellantis SA team for the launch of the all new C3 Aircross Max. We were thoroughly impressed with this offering considering the overall package and the pricing you can get it at. Pricing kicks off from R344 900.00 for the 5-seater, and R354 900.00 can get you the 7-seater version.

Citroën has made use of a 1.2L PureTech Turbocharged engine, mated to a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, which gives out 81kW/203Nm, with a claimed fuel consumption of only 6.3L/100km.

The C3 Aircross Max is a 4.32m long B-SUV which maximizes the interior space. The driver display is a 7” TFT screen, with steering wheel controls, and an arm rest for added comfort. Electric windows all-around are standard. Passengers will enjoy a high definition 10” touchscreen infotainment system with wireless app connect. You get the advantage of 3 USB ports in the MAX5, and considerably 5 USB ports in the MAX7. And boot space is at 444L for the MAX5, and 511L for the MAX7.

Citroen offers this car with a 4 year/60 000km service plan, and a 5 year/100 000km warranty.

We will provide a full in-depth review of the C3 Aircross Max once we get on test. However for now, we reckon this is definitely a people pleaser with a good price. More to follow on our reel.
