Five rounds in, and we’ve already welcomed 55 points-scoring competitors to the Backdraft Racing Series endurance championship!

The battles are intense, the family keeps growing, and there are still two rounds left for you to join the action.

Dezzi Raceway — 3 hours of endurance racing

📅 11–12 December
Killarney International Raceway — 6 hours of endurance racing

Top Class Racing! 💪

Round 5 of the Backdraft Racing Series at Red Star Raceway delivered on its promise!

Intense battles right until the bitter end, with nothing settled until the job was done. Exactly what you expect from endurance racing!

And of all the Backdraft Cobras competing, only one retired. Another testament to the durability of these V8 machines, even when the racing gets tough.

In a month’s time, we return to Dezzi Raceway for the penultimate round. The championship fight is far from over! 👀

🇺🇸 🇿🇦 Big Winners!

Richard van Heerde and Dan Hirsch came out on top BIG time at round 5 of the Backdraft Racing Series at Red Star Raceway !

Class victory AND Index of Performance honours after four hours of intense racing. That’s a proper day’s work! 🏆

They beat championship leaders Mike McLoughlin and Rob Mordaunt fair and square on track. With just two rounds remaining, they are right back in the championship fight.

V8 Supercar hotshots Franco di Matteo and Julian Fameliaris completed the podium with an incredible drive.

The fight for the title is far from over!

Thank you to Tony and Brian Martin for making round 5 of the Backdraft Racing Series at Redstar Raceway another success!

Endurance racing is very much alive, and our family keeps growing. The battles on track were intense, and nobody was giving an inch. But once the helmets came off, it was back to sharing stories, having a laugh and enjoying the company.

To our drivers, teams, crew, partners and supporters: thank you for being part of it.

Behind them, Richard van Heerde and Dan Hirsch came out on top in a fiercely contested Backdraft battle. Four hours of racing, and no easy route to victory! 💪

Pitstops, driver changes and damage repairs are shaking up the order at Redstar. The lead keeps changing, and so does the fight for victory.

We’re closing in on the halfway mark of the 4-hour endurance race, and there’s heartbreak for the pink Cobra. A gearbox problem has forced the father-and-son Pitamber pairing into retirement, leaving the Hammonds firmly in the lead in Class A.

Among the Backdrafts, the battle is far from settled. With almost two hours still to race, picking a winner is anyone’s guess! 👀

Thirty minutes into our 4-hour endurance race at Redstar, and the battles are taking shape!

The Hammonds and Pitambers are swapping the Class A lead, while Mackie Adlem and Rudi Barnard lead the charge in the Backdraft field.
