Is it actually starting to look like an F40.

I've been quietly printing the front end piece by piece for the MR2, and we're finally getting to the point where we can see what this thing is actually becoming.

But there's a big question now...

Will all of this actually fit the MR2?

The first ever piece of the F40 body is finally out of the printer. 🇿🇦

It didn't go quite as planned...

The first attempt lifted from the bed and then I accidentally killed the power to the printer. 😂

So I changed a few things, started again, and this time it worked.
This is officially the first physical piece of the F40 × MR2 build.

And there's a LOT more to print.

THE FIRST PIECE IS PRINTING. 👀🔥

This morning, we finally started printing the first physical piece of the F40 body for the MR2.

Up until now, this project has mostly existed on a computer. Now we're finally finding out if all that planning can actually work in the real world.

And of course… I forgot to load the new filament into the AMS, so the first ever F40 piece is being printed in pink. 😂

Honestly, I'm keeping it. This will always be the piece that started the physical build.

The printer has 10+ hours left on this first piece, so there's still a long way to go.
