Tomorrow we start with the wiring loom restoration on this botched wiring. Taking it back to factory spec and giving it a semi loom tuck with a few aftermarket relays to help the old girl out.

Client came in because his mk1 was overhauled by a previous mechanic but after did not start as I checked the car I checked that the timing was way out.
The camshaft, intermediate shaft and crankshaft seals was pi***ng oil out of every hole and was not done due to the fact that they did not have the proper tools for the job.
The low oil pressure switch was botched and the wiring is a mess. So I started off by cleaning the areas because the sludge was caked on, after that installed new seals and new low oil pressure switch. Got the timing sorted now she runs like a dream and that annoying buzzing sound on the cluster is gone for good.
