Zach Straits experience runs deep in the automotive industry. Working at his father’s garage he began rebuilding automatic transmissions at 13 years old. Restoration of classic automobiles has always been a passion. Several of his restorations have

been rated high on a national level and owned by noted industry leaders such as George Poteet, Wayne Carini, Wayne Jesel and Rob Kauffman. Zach’s latest restoration “Jenny the Camaro” a 1967 SS/RS is currently receiving top awards on the car show circuit and featured in multiple media outlets. His other automotive experiences include professional drag racing, SCCA autocross, being a care taker of some well know vehicles and transporting them to nationally recognized car events. Zach is also a social media contributor for Auto Enthusiast Network and In The Pits Media. If that was not enough, he has three regional SCCA championships and has set three land speed records driving the Jesel Land Speed Team Dodge pickup on the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Dream Car Connection is honored and excited to share that owner Zach Straits been appointed to the SEMA HRIA (Hot Rod Industry Alliance) Select Committee on Communication. It’s a great privilege to support and be involved with the automotive industry at a higher level—an industry we truly love and have dedicated so much of our life to.
Our first meeting was the Long Range Planning session in Fort Myers, Florida, and we're looking forward to getting to work.
