Automotive technician required
Location: Lusaka
Permanent position
We looking for a qualified and professional technician to join our team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Servicing of light motor vehicles, SUV’s and 4x4’s.
Engine rebuild & overhaul
General mechanical repairs.
Inspecting and reporting vehicle faults and defects.
Test driving vehicles
Be responsible for all tools and equipment, both your own toolbox and the workshops tools.
Hang tools up after use.
Jacking up the vehicles with the safety measures in place.
Operating hoist.
Using hydraulic and power tools with care and safety.
Executing all work in a safe manner.
Qualifications Required:
Automotive Mechanic Trade Test is Essential -
Excellent diagnostic abilities
Profound knowledge of systems and tools needed to perform a procedure
Sound understanding of safety precautions
Demonstrated ability to determine causes of errors and good resolution judgment
Profound ability to determine what type of tools will be used in which situation
Proven ability to detect problems and perform troubleshooting procedures
Ability to handle precision machines and material handling equipment
Excellent ability to perform all the above, keeping in mind company standards and procedures
Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience:
3-5 years’ experience as a vehicle mechanic
Other requirements:
Driver’s License
