Following the unique Sapphire Edition, presented in 2025, this year's XG+ Emerald Edition will also be released in a limited edition of just 100 trucks, each individually numbered for maximum exclusivity. The Emerald Edition is part of the unique 'Gemstone Collection' that emphasizes DAF's rich history and craftsmanship. Each model is paired with a specific gemstone to symbolize DAF's approach to its 100th anniversary in 2028. The Emerald Edition is painted in Forest Dawn green colour.

For optimal rest and sleep comfort, the Emerald Edition is equipped with a very comfortable mattress with an 'Emerald pattern' and matching topper and curtains. DAF's trusted Night Lock provides extra security and thus an excellent night's sleep. A microwave oven is standard in one of the storage compartments above the windshield. Thanks to the Climate Pack, the driver always enjoys an optimal interior climate.

The advanced DAF Infotainment System ensures a high-quality music experience. In addition to its distinctive appearance and high-quality interior, the Emerald Edition also delivers exceptional performance and efficiency. The powerful PACCAR MX-13 engine with 480 hp (355 kW) makes optimal use of every drop of fuel. Efficiency is further enhanced by the DAF Digital Vision System, which replaces conventional exterior mirrors, the innovative DAF Corner View, and low rolling resistance tires.

The DAF XG⁺ Emerald Edition is equipped with a comprehensive range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for maximum safety and efficiency. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Driver Alert Support, and Predictive Cruise Control – all designed to support the driver, reduce fatigue, and further enhance overall road safety.

The XG and XG+ Electric are driven by the most powerful PACCAR EX‑D2 electric motor, with outputs from 270 to 350 kW (370 to 480 hp) and a torque of 2,400 Nm.

3-speed transmission with planetary gears: low weight, high efficiency, comfortable and ultra-fast shifting, and impressively low energy consumption

𝙏𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙨 (cobalt- and nickel-free)
To optimally tailor electric trucks to their intended use, DAF offers modular battery packs with 2 to 5 packs. Not every application requires a maximum range of 500 kilometers. Fewer battery packs save weight and increase payload.

With 5 battery packs, even 500+ electric kilometers on a single charge are possible. Thanks to efficient vehicle and charge planning, the DAF XD/XF/XG Electric can travel up to 1,000 km per day fully electric – also suitable for long distances.

DAF uses exclusively lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries, which are cobalt- and nickel-free. They have a long lifespan, are thermally stable, and can be charged to 100% repeatedly without degradation. DAF offers an 8-year warranty.

The trucks support DC fast charging up to 325 kW. A 3-pack battery charges to 80% in about 45 minutes, the largest pack fully charges in 2 hours. AC charging up to 22 kW is optional via an onboard charger.
