We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and form colleagues of Steve Cornett following his tragic passing.
Steve was more than a customer to us — over the years, he became family. He was someone we respected deeply, and his loss is felt throughout our entire team. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Char, his children, and everyone who knew and loved him during this incredibly difficult time.
This tragedy is also a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers roadside workers, construction crews, truck drivers, tow operators, and first responders face every day while simply doing their jobs. Too many lives have been lost because drivers fail to slow down, stay alert, and move over when approaching emergency scenes, work zones, and stopped vehicles along our highways.
Please remember: Slow Down. Move Over. Pay Attention. It’s not only the law — it’s about protecting lives and making sure workers and families make it home safely.
