Knight Engines is looking for an engine machinist/builder!

The time has come, workload is getting way out of hand - Knight Engines needs another worker, done the apprentice thing, didn't work out. Done the casual worker thing, going ok, but limited skill sets are a problem.
What I need is a machinist/engine builder, someone with experience in the trade.
Here's a list of in house work I do, the more of these the applicant can tick off the better, note there is not a single DRO in here, old school machinist required, not a production machinist!
Boring & honing - hone cabinet, manually stroked
Rod honing
Seat cutting (RVR with ball drive tooling & speed controller - if you can use a sunnen or serdi you'll pick it up quick)
Seat inserts
Machining spring pockets & guide tops
Screw in rocker studs
Guide work - replacement, K-lines, honing with sunnen gear.
Milling blocks & heads - Comec & Archdale mills
TIG welding alloy castings & fabrication in alloy & steel
Valve refacing
Pressure testing
Flywheel grinding
Lathe work ( modifying stuff, making stuff)
General cleaning/bead blasting/tanking/spray washing etc.
Fabrication work - brackets, sump & cover mods etc.
Precision measuring & blueprinting to close tolerances.
Engine assembly, pushrod V8's mainly, but some DOHC multivalve stuff as well. NA, turbo, blown. Circuit race, road race, drag, speedway, rally, boats, street performance.
Die grinder use - block prep, head prep etc.
Porting - not expecting a head porter, but someone with good fine motor skill, experience with a grinder & willingness to learn would be useful.
Head setup - spring heights & pressures, rocker geometry etc.
Work done here is more towards the higher end of performance & competition engines & head prep, there is some stock reco work for the trade, but the majority is performance work & must be done with attention to detail, production type machining is not good enough.
Age or gender is not an issue, nor is a trade qualification (tho it would help), I'm open to anyone with the appropriate skill set.
Working conditions are pretty good, I'm no ball breaker, shop is set up decently & improving all the time, hours can be flexible. Shop is air conditioned, but not heated.

Located at Somerton Park, between brighton & Glenelg.
If you or someone you know fits the bill or comes pretty close you can contact me on 0411 015157 or msg on here.
TXT is best, I rarely pick up the phone, usually can't hear it.

Position would have to start out as casual, but ultimately I am looking for a reliable long term employee to stay with the shop for quite a while, so for the right person it'll likely end up as a full time position.

Another weird one done - Maserati 3L V6 from a Citroen SM.
Big job, parts hard to get, lots of fiddly stuff needed fixing, 2 days to put the sod together. Full rebuild/restoration for a car that's currently being restored.

Been a bit busy to post much up lately, but had to post this.
It's a real main seal adaptor for a holden V8 to adapt it to take a chev real main seal. Good for dry sump/high crankcase vac engines, allows the use of a double lip seal to seal oil from getting out & air from getting in. Crank needs the seal area ground to chev size & block gets the rear main area line bored out to accept the adaptor, which locates in what's left of the original real main seal groove & is fitted up with epoxy & cured overnight with the cap nipped up.

Out at the track last night with a customer, flat tappet, pump fuel, iron head 355 holden in a real nice regular street driver LX hatch. Teething issues - cowl induction screwing with the carb & causing a lean misfire, sorted by removing the offending cowl scoop. Only 1 run after we figured out WTF was going on - 10.29 @ 130mph into a head wind that was costing everyone .1-.2sec & 3-4mph. Back out in 4 weeks to get it dialled in a bit better, hopefully with better track conditions.
Looking good so far with plenty left in it.
