Today's episode started with a plan to repair the transfer case in Brute Farce, replace all the ball joints, both hub bearings, and u-joints.
It didn't quite get all done, but, I did successfully rebuild the New Process 241 D.L.D transfer case for a grand total of $12, using a NP241C as an organ donor.

Brute Farce had some transfer case woes.... As I expected, I found some floaty parts and a thrashed shift fork.

But, after pillaging a NP241C (GM) transfer case for it's guts, I've got a "rebuilt" 241DLD (Dodge light-duty)

I had the Chevy case laying around, so the Dodge went from busted to better for the cost of some rtv!

In today's episode, I help a friend by installing new shocks and struts on his 4th Generation Chevy Tahoe and deleting the MagneRide system. New struts can be very expensive, almost $700 per strut! So instead, we're going to try our luck with an affordable system from Partsgeek.com.

Some people may see a driveway like this as excess, I see it as I'm going to have fun, regardless of what mother nature throws my way.

There's fair weather, good weather, winter weather, and hiding in the back in 10 cylinders of I don't care what the weather is.

Been sitting over a month in sub-freezing temps, she's a little cold blooded....

Nice to hear it run again, and it's always good to get the fluids moving. I'd say I'm looking forward to spring, but I want to rip some trails on the XLT so first, I want snow!

I've purchased the best Amazon offered, by "best" I mean cheapest, and we're going to recover the driver's seat bottom, recover the center console lid, and reupholster the headliner!
