12 months ago I started writing Charter Sailing Musings, a blog about all things to do with bareboat chartering in the BVI. Since then close to 100 people have become regular viewers and I'd like to encourage all with interest to click on the link (there is no cost!) and take a look. Of course, if you want to learn more or take a trip with your family and friends you can read about how it works and then drop me a line! Happy browsing!

Sailing, chartering, relaxing and rum! Click to read "Charter Sailing Musings...", by Graeme McEvoy, a Substack publication. Launched a year ago.

Itinerary planning - an often debated topic

When I look at BVI discussion pages on Facebook one of the most common requests is for input on a charterer’s itinerary, or float plan, for their week of charter. New blog about how to get started with Bare Boat chartering. How do you learn?

New blog post up... sharing some of our favorite restaurant stops, and thoughts on the Conch Fritter!

We recently came back from a trip round the BVI in Artemis, our Lagoon 46 catamaran in charter with TMM Yacht charters. As is typical on these trips we spent a decent amount of time checking out restaurants/beach bars and various local foods ashore.

New blog up, not about sailing this time, but about RUM!

I do enjoy rum. I don’t really enjoy other brown liquor but I do enjoy rum. Used as a base for a mix drink or for something more simple, I enjoy the molasses flavor and the vibe that comes with it! Having spent 10 years in the Royal Navy in the early part of my career I appreciate the links betwee...
