Well dang it, sometimes you’re the bug…… sometimes you’re the windshield, haha! Our 6th Annual “No Big Deal” Cruise-In was anti-climactic, to say the least, with a handful of oddball factors trippin’ us up this year (I’m talkin’ to you, Mother Nature!😤) All good though, as we had a chance to catch up with friends and fellow hotrodders, which always makes things worth it. We’re already looking forward to a better effort for next year’s event and want to extend a sincere “Thank you!” to all who made the trip, we definitely appreciated it! 👊🏼

Our “raincheck” 6th Annual “No Big Deal” Cruise-In date is TOMORROW, Saturday, Nov. 1st, from 10:00A—2:00P. We were undeterred by last week’s rainy yuck weather, and thank you to all who braved the gloom to enjoy some benchracing and the Yuba-Sutter area’s best, homemade chíle verde. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for sunny + 78* 👌🏽😎👌🏽 Revised registration is just $20 this year, with a handful of you already pre-registered. We sure hope to see you (and your hotrods) here! Thank you so much!

Well………I guess the ol’ weatherman took the blindfold OFF when he was throwin’ darts to guess the forecast this year, haha. Saturday, Nov. 1st will be our “Rainout Date”, BUT today we WILL have homemade chíle verde, rice and beans available for the brave masses. Food will be ready appx. 12 Noon, how ‘bout $10/plate? All pre-registered folks are covered, we look forward to B.S.’ing with all who make the trip.

As an aside since we won't be including homemade lunch with registration, it only makes sense to reduce vehicle registration from the aforementioned $30 down to a $20 bill. Forecast is callin' for our "normal" sunny-and-79* for Saturday. Thanks again! 👍🏽

Registration is just $30, includes delicious, homemade lunch (for the vehicle’s driver, additional plates are $10/each) Early registration definitely recommended!

You’ll have a shot at awards in 10+ categories, with a wild variety of local (and not-so-local) hotrods to check out. Plenty of clean parking, all years/makes welcome!

A solid month of Midnights on the horizon, gettin’ our daily-driver, ‘67 C10 shop runner ready(?) for the Redwood Rally 2025! Big thanks to the crew at Champion Cooling Systems for the killer, dual-pass radiator, as well as our homies over at Spal Automotive for a pair of their serious, 13” atmosphere movers. Drivetrain cooling is one of the “Big-Three” fun suckers during these multi-day, multi-track, “Drag & Drive” events. Come correct…….. or leave on a hook!

Quick mention, after we tidy’d up from our cruise-in/car show, there was a sorta’ fancy sports bottle left inside the shop. It’s been thoroughly cleaned/sanitized/Ziploc’d, so if it’s yours, confirm and claim your property (and HOW have you survived without water for ~4 days??) 😁

…..and speaking of glaring omissions!! Somehow the airhead that runs this joint (that’d be me🫣) managed to overlook one of the baddest Mopars we’ve ever had at our cruise-in. This thing is a standout, super-clean, with the base growl you expect from a Gen-1 Cummins. If you see it out in the wild, you’ll wanna’ take a look. We sure hope to see at future events (and also that he forgives us, haha!)

Once again the ol’ Universe gave us a perfect, 80 degree Fall day, as our 5th Annual “No Big Deal” Cruise-In kicked off....

Once again the ol’ Universe gave us a perfect, 80 degree Fall day, as our 5th Annual “No Big Deal” Cruise-In kicked off. This year we saw even more beautifully done restorations, chest-thumpin’ musclecars and a number of our badass local, “positive manifold pressure” streetsweepers in attendance. So now that this one’s in the books, the question is……. where were YOU??😎
