Tech Tuesday is here, and this one has been a long time coming.
Since November 1st, our team has been heads down developing the next generation of our Elite Series Front Splitters. The result is a 2pc unit built from a special variant of our patented Hybrid Aluminum material, coming in at 2x the thickness of our current lineup without the proportional weight increase. Once assembled, recessed center plates and flush fit hardware tie both halves together so cleanly that you genuinely cannot tell it is two pieces.
So why two pieces?
Our existing 1pc splitters now classify as oversized freight with most major carriers, which triggers $300 or more in additional shipping fees. That is not a cost we are willing to pass on. By splitting the unit down the center, we bring it back under that threshold and keep LVA free shipping exactly where it belongs.
On top of that, the 2pc construction actually improves overall rigidity compared to the 1pc design, and it introduces something that has never been possible before: true modularity. Catch some road debris on the highway? You are replacing one half of a splitter at one half the cost. For a part that lives at the absolute lowest, frontmost point of your car, that kind of repairability is paramount.
What you are seeing here is the final prototype, still raw. The custom vinyl edge trim and laser etched details come next, followed by a full beauty shoot, and then we go live.
