Fords have been keeping us busy! 🔧

We came to this F-150 for a limp-mode and overheating issue. After verifying it wasn’t actually overheating, we found a failed cylinder head temp sensor.

Replaced it, got it back on the road, and it’s headed to Indiana! 🚗💨

We finished the night off with an F-450 that had completely worn-out front pads and rotors.

These are definitely not your average brake job. The front rotors require removal of the hub adapter, and depending on how cooperative everything wants to be, they either come off with a fight—or they come singing right off! 😂🔨

Tonight, they decided to put up a little bit of a challenge, but we got the job done and got this F-450 safely back on the road.

🚗🔧 Today’s Mobile Fix: Mercedes Diesel Crank-No-Start

We came to this Mercedes diesel for a crank-no-start condition. The fuel gauge was reading about half a tank, but something wasn’t adding up.

After disconnecting the fuel filter lines, we found there wasn’t enough fuel being supplied to properly prime the system. Once we removed the fuel pump, we discovered the tank was actually completely empty and the fuel level sensor was operating incorrectly, giving a false reading.

We repaired the fuel level sensor, added fuel, primed the system, and got this Mercedes back up and running! 💪🔧

This is why proper diagnostics matter—you can’t always trust what the gauge is telling you!

🔧🚚 2012 Ram 1500 No-Crank, No-Start

We came out to this 2012 Ram 1500 for a no-crank, no-start condition with absolutely no starter click when the key was turned.

After proper diagnostics, we found a failed and severely rotted ground lug on the starter solenoid. We replaced the starter and got this Ram back on the road where it belongs! 💪

⚠️ Proper diagnostics matter—sometimes the problem isn’t always as simple as just throwing parts at it.

This Escape came in with a shudder, getting stuck in third gear, and eventually going into limp mode.
After proper diagnostics, we found a failed valve body conductor plate allowing transmission fluid to leak past the harness plug, causing corrupted signals to the TCM.
The lesson? Don’t throw parts at a problem. Codes point you in a direction, but proper diagnostics find the actual root cause.

🚨 ANOTHER JOB FROM YESTERDAY! 🚨🔧

We had a 2017 Toyota 4Runner come in with a crank, no-start condition. Upon scanning the vehicle, we found a plethora of codes — 34 codes to be exact! 😳

After some basic electrical testing and diagnostics, we discovered a rubbed-through and melted wire going to an aftermarket-installed fuse block. We repaired the damaged wire and got the 4Runner back up and running! ⚡🚙

But was that the only issue? 🤔👀
