Quite a few of you know that I had closed up about a year ago. This was due to not being able to spend the time in the shop like I wanted. Because of that, the turn around time was quite slow. However, I do appreciate everyones patience with me! I am sure that other shops have taken good care of you since my closing. I will be dipping my toe back into repairing ATVs on a smaller scale. Mainly doing work that does not involve bottom end or transmission work. Although I still hold a full-time job, I will do my best to improve the turn around times. There are some other changes that will take place as well. I will discuss those changes with each person I do work for. Feel free to contact me with any questions or repair needs! I look forward to serving you!

Here we go again.... it's been too long since I last posted anything. I will be closing shop December 1st for the winter. I am unsure whether I will reopen in the spring or not. I will let everyone know if I decide to open back up. Until then, ride safe and Happy Holidays.

If if you have any questions about a problem you are having with your machine, feel free to shoot me a message. It may be something that can be fixed with a conversation over the phone or with a PM. On a different note, I will be implementing a storage fee on anything left here over 10 days after the finished notification is sent. It will be $5.00 a day starting on day 11 unless arrangements are made prior to day 11. I hate to do this. I know times are tough, but I cant tote the bill on work that is completed. I run into problems with shop room also. ALL invoice balances are due at the time of pick up. Thank you for your understanding.

Man, I can't believe how time flies. It has been forever since I posted anything here. My apologies for that. Still going strong here. Thought I would share a tip or 2. When removing gaskets from a case cover, or anything aluminum for that matter, DO NOT use a whizz wheel, wire wheel, ect when removing old gasket material. It will ruin the gasket surface. Use a gasket removal tool like a razor or the rigid gasket removal tool. Gaskets can be a pain in the butt to get off of the surface, but it is the right way to do it. Otherwise you may have to use silicone along with the gasket to keep things from leaking. I should have taken pics of the junk i pulled out of this machine, but silicone gasket maker makes a mess inside the engine. The previous "mechanic" used silicone to seal a case cover and this person used so much that the oil screen inside the engine was plugged up causing the engine to starve for oil and a total rebuild is now in order. One other tip. Make sure when the oil is changed, DO NOT over tighten the oil drain plug. The case can crack which leads to a leak that can't be fixed properly without replacing the cases. I have a pic of a cracked case from over tighting an oil plug.

Well what a season. Cant believe we are knocking on the door for the fall season. This year has had many challange to overcome. Getting parts has been the biggest challange. Now that the fall season is approaching, the farmers will be calling on me to keep their dryers running, so the shop time will suffer big time. I still have a couple of projects I will be working on over the winter to keep my sanity in check lol! To my customers... thank you for your business this past season! I look forward to meeting new potential customers in the future.

It's been a while since I have posted here. It has been super busy! I do have a machine for sale today. It is a 2004 YFZ450. It came to me for repair and after diagnosis, it is in need of a crankshaft. It isnt locked up and will run, but it has a noise in the bottom end however it is very fixable. The owner is looking for 1000.00 obo for it. There is NO title. I am listing it here for him. You can contact him (Mike) directly at 563 316 9473. He may part it out but would rather not.

So I was going through one of the machines that arrived in the last few days. During the short diagnosis, I came across this. I said wtf? And yes I said it out loud to myself! A machine will NOT run correctly with an oil rag filter. Does anyone know why? Comments are welcome😁 Make sure to check the air box on your machine regularly. Mice love to build nests in the air box. If you keep your filter clean AND oiled, that will help keep the critters out. I think I will post this kind of stuff as I come across it. Would someone like to come up with a name for this segment? I would love to hear suggestions.

It's been a busy week. 6 in and 3 back out. I now have room for a few more. Stay tuned, I am finally pulling my 450 off of the back burner and going through the motor. Top end for sure, check the crank tolerance, and send the case out to have the oil mod installed. It's been 3 years....It's time
