Paint correction on some ugly scratches and swirling on this beautiful black Dodge. Hopefully the weather brightens up soon so that I can finish correction, and protect this paint!

Spent some time removing holograms that were left behind by a subpar detailer who tried to "buff out" scratches on this Cement Grey TRD PRO Tacoma. There were traces of some type of wax all over the black plastics as well. Started the morning off with a wash to prep the paint for decontamination. We then hit the paint with a fine clay bar to remove sub-surface contaminants. Once the paint was clean it was ready for correction and after a couple of tests spots we found a pad and polish combo that was able to level the paint out to remove the buffer trails and swirling that littered all of the vertical panels. Not only were we able to correct the paint, but we were able to bring a ton of depth to this beautiful color. The last step was to add a layer of synthetic wax to help protect the truck for months to come!
