This 2026 GMC Sierra 2500 is absolutely beautiful, and the owner wants to keep it that way. (Can't blame him with new vehicle prices!)

We covered the full front end in LLumar Films Platinum Paint Protection Film (PPF), a self healing film with a 10 year warranty. That includes the full hood, bumper, fenders, A-Pillars and partial roof, adding an invisible layer of protection against rock chips and light scratches.

And no job is complete without window tint! We added our CTX Ceramic tint to all the windows, providing glare reduction, UV protection and heat rejection. Plus, it just looks so much better with tint!

Removal and replacement of failing window tint. It's always satisfying, at least when it's done 🤣

What you're seeing in the first picture is adhesive failure and it happens for a few different reasons.

- Cheap window tint. That's the most common cause. Skip the $99 whole car window tint shops if you plan on keeping your car for more than 6 months 😂. The reason that tint is so cheap is because the manufacturer uses very cheap materials. Cheap dye, cheap adhesive, you get it.

- Age. This is another big one. While the durability of window tint can vary drastically by brand, location, how the vehicle is stored and cared for etc..

- Specific vehicles. This one is more unexpected than the rest but there are certain vehicles that are much more prone to adhesive failure, and the vehicle pictured is one of them. The vehicle pictured is a Lincoln MKZ, these and Ford Fusions are notorious for adhesive failure. It could be something in the glass manufacturing process, it could be the almost flat angle of the glass, I don't know if anyone really knows for sure but anytime you see these cars, it isn't surprising to see failing window tint.

Either way, it's replaced, the customer was extremely happy and he can finally see through his back window again!

We spent a whole lot of time on this one!

2025 Corvette with just over 1,000 miles on it. The owner reached out a few weeks ago. He had just bought it and thought, rightfully so, that it had way too many swirl marks and light scratches for only having 1,000 miles.

He said that the pictures on the listing obviously didn't show the swirl marks and he was very let down when he picked it up in person, it was all he could focus on. He asked if we could help, and we did!

We did multiple stages of paint correction to get the paint looking it's absolute best and then ceramic coated it to add depth and enhance the gloss while making it extremely easy to keep clean.

He was absolutely ecstatic when he picked it up. To quote him directly "I feel like a kid in a candy store" 🤣 and those moments absolutely make all those hours worth it.

After a lot of back and forth in my head, I'm excited to officially announce that we are changing the business name from HD Automotive Detailing to HD Auto Studio.

This change comes at a point where I feel like we've outgrown the old name. While detailing will always be part of what we do, we've grown in ways I honestly never expected. Window tinting, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, and paint correction have all become major parts of the business, and I wanted a name that better reflects who we are today without boxing us into strictly detailing.

More importantly, this new name gives us room to continue growing and expanding into even more automotive styling and protection services in the future.

To be honest, this whole journey is still surreal to me. The fact that this business has grown into what it is today is something I never could have imagined. I'll never forget where it all started, but I'm incredibly excited to see where this next chapter takes us.

As always, I want to sincerely thank every single one of you for your support over the last almost decade. How crazy is that?! I can have all the ideas and goals in the world, but none of this happens without the support of this community. You guys have trusted us with your vehicles, recommended us to your friends and family, and helped us grow into what we are today. For that, I'll always be grateful.

Thank you all again for the support over the years. Now... bring us your car! 🤣

Another beautiful classic in the books!

This 1978 Trans Am came in for some much-needed attention before cruising season.

We gave the paint a full exterior detail and paint correction to cut through the oxidation and swirl marks, bringing the gloss and depth back out in the paint. We also installed ceramic window tint all around to help with heat rejection while enhancing the overall look. I’d say it fits the car pretty well.

If you’ve got a classic sitting in the garage waiting for warmer weather, now’s the time to get it ready for show season. Whether it needs polishing, tint, ceramic coating, or just some overdue attention, we’d love to help bring it back to life!

This 2000 Dodge Viper RT/10 may have gotten the most in depth detail/paint correction/ceramic coating that we have done so far.

This was a project for a good friend who had been a bit skeptical, for good reason, about how well the original, 26 year old paint would hold up to an in depth paint correction. I finally convinced him to drop it off so we could do our thing to it, and he was absolutely blow away by the results.

We spent a countless amount of hours bringing life back to the dull finish. Touch up paint for some small rock chips on the hood, wet sanding, compounding, polishing to make that Viper red pop like it was originally supposed to. Then, we applied our System X Pro ceramic coating to lock in that shine and make it a breeze to clean.

The wheels were removed, acid cleaned to remove a majority of the gunk off of them, polished to a mirror finish and ceramic coated, all suspension components deep cleaned to remove years of baked on grease and road grime, possibly some rubber bits from burnouts? Definitely not burnouts 🤫

Vipers are by far some of my favorite cars that have ever been built. They are very rare compared to most production performance cars. Only 32,000, approximately, Dodge vipers were built between 1992 and 2017 and only 255 of the 2000, RT/10's in Viper red were built so this one is very rare.

Vehicles like this, or any vehicle for that matter, requires serious experience before you can trust just anyone to do this type of correction process ,especially if you are concerned with keeping the original paint intact.

I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to work on vehicles like this and I'm looking forward to some more projects like this!

2023 Lexus RX 350 in for paint correction and a ceramic coating.

This is the third vehicle we’ve ceramic coated for this customer, which says more than anything I could write here. (Thank you again, Matt!)

We did a single stage paint correction to remove swirls, marring, light scratches and then applied our 3 year ceramic coating to help protect the paint and make cleaning a breeze.

I can't help but sing "Blue on Black" every time I look at this car.

2025 Corvette E-Ray came in for some LLumar window tint and the tint really adds a beautiful contrast to the Riptide blue 😍

The weather is finally starting to turn and what feels like the longest winter ever has come to an end. With that, we are ramping up for what feels like our busiest-busy season so far!
