Just a PSA with the upcoming extended cold snap on the horizon.....

Batteries in the mowers/tractors/RVs/boats/etc that haven't been used/charged since fall need to be fully charged to survive the deep cold.

A conventional (lead/acid) battery will need to be at LEAST 50% charged or the water/acid inside will freeze and damage the plates. The chart below gives you a good reference point.

Today is forecast to be right at 32F so it's the PERFECT time to top off these batteries!..... it can save you $$BIG$$ in the spring!!

As the temps and humidity stay high..... many local sources of bagged ice are either running out or have increased prices to ridiculous levels.
Just wanted to remind everyone that we have a commercial ice maker to supply our walleye charter boat Hell Froze Over Charters and it makes PLENTY!!!

We sell 10lb bags for $2.50!
