His notes from the road:

“Camped last night at Lincoln Lake State Park, Indiana. Adjacent to Lincoln’s boyhood home national monument. Lincoln lived here on his family farm from age 7-21. His mom died not long after moving here and he was raised by his sister. She died shortly before Lincoln moved to IL. Both are buried here.”
