I'm a 3rd generation Carny. My name is Lyle Miller, the son of Paul A Miller who owned his own show. A carnival and Circus and a great promoter. I've worked on various shows, The World of Mirth, Rod Links, Little Richard, Reithoffers,to mention a few. I was around when the show was segregated with a front end and back , ride jocks and jointees and a Hey Rube brought us together. When " With It !" Meant something and only carnies spoke Carny. When Carnies helped out down and out Carnies and Jamborees raised money for the clubs. It's all different now. I had a stroke in 2012 so I can't go on the road anymore so I'm on limited income. I've worked every aspect of the business legal and illegal. Not anymore there is too many rats.. but I'm proud of my life in the business.
