A friend contacted me about a customer interested in upgrading his boat to fuel injection. After consulting with Holley and my network of boat building friends. I provided a quote for installing a complete Sniper system. However, the project came with a tight deadline: it had to be finished by 7/23 for the family's lake trip. To ensure timely completion, parts were ordered with overnight shipping. The installation included a Coast Guard-approved Sniper Quadrajet unit and an aluminum intake. Electrical components were carefully mounted in a safe and grounded location beside the engine compartment. This upgrade replaced the outdated Thunderbolt V and 2bbl carb setup, and its performance on the lake was impressive. Seeing the owner's satisfaction made the hard work worthwhile.

Yesterday, on the mobile side, I received a call from a man about his 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, which has been down for 8 years, undergoing customization. He mentioned that it's already on a lift and ready, asking if I could do the work in his shop. I confirmed that we do that. The man understood that 700+ horsepower through the 4-speed would require good brakes, so EJ and I installed his 4-corner Wilwood kit and began plumbing the lines. However, the line kit was incorrect for the rear axle, so I'll make that part next. A painless harness throughout will be the next step, followed by reassembly. I'm making new friends and increasing smiles per gallon!
